About ADAPTOR

Adaptor formed on January 8, 1991 in Jakarta with personnel that is: Hendra (vocals), Benny (lead guitar), Niken (rhythm guitar), Jocker (bass), Robin-ex Grausig & Noxa (drums) that genre 'grind core'. In this formation, Adaptor brought the songs and some songs from Terrorizer and some own songs. From 1991 until 1993, Adaptor through several personnel changes that include: Doddy-Betrayer (bass), Fachmi-Mortus (bass), Lucky (drums), Dayat (drums), and still many others to bring genre songs 'death metal' from Messiah, Entombed & some own songs. Then in 1993, changed again Adaptor formation becomes: Albar (vocal), Ibenk-Gegar Otak (lead guitar), Ricko (rhythm guitar), Hendra (bass), Obien (drums). In this formation, Adaptor makes demotape many as 4 songs titled 'Lost Control' genre 'pure death metal', which one of his songs (Lost Control) to jingle the show Rock & Rhythm Mustang FM (Jakarta). Lost Control Album is printed only a few cassette that was circulated by 'hand to hand'. In 1996, another change of personnel Adaptor into: Albar (vocal), Yandrie-ex Petromax (guitar), Ibenk (guitar), Hendra (bass), Obien (drums). In 1997, Adaptor having more personnel changes to: Albar (vocal), Yandrie (guitar), Hendra (bass), Obien (drums). In this formation, Adaptor to make a mini album titled 'Inner Death' genre 'aggressive death metal', which contains 6 songs. Inner Death album is printed as many as 4000 copies including those in Malaysia & Singapore. In 1999, Adaptor again change its personnel, namely: Ivan (vocals), Yandrie (lead guitar), Jawier (rhythm guitar), Hendra (bass), Obien (drums) and participated in the compilation album Adaptor Metaliklinik 3 (a compilation of songs from Indonesian metal bands) with the song 'Pembalasan'. In 2000, Adaptor again change its personnel, namely: Albar (vocal), Yandrie (lead guitar), Jawier (rhythm guitar), Hendra (bass), Chokie (drums) until 2001. Then, from 2001-2010 Adaptor has the vacuum's. Adaptor slowly rose from the grave with the arrangement of personnel: Hendra (vocals), Barock (guitar), Jalloud (bass), Hamzah (drums), who finally in 2011 Adaptor is ready to perform again in the metal world and could finalize the 3rd album titled 'Destroyer Characters' in 2013. From 1997 until now, Adaptor genre 'Aggressive Death Metal'.
